Fraudulent e-mails are distributed on behalf of BTA
BTA Baltic Insurance Company AAS (hereinafter – BTA) customers and cooperation partners receive fraudulent e-mails from the address info@bta-inssurance.com about receiving compensation for the purpose to get Internet banking data. We warn customers and partners not to open the link mentioned in the e-mail under any circumstances!
Today, we have received calls from several customers regarding the information received in the e-mail about the claim case, in which clients are invited to open the link, enter the Internet banking user and follow the further instructions. Please by no means do not follow the link, do not perform any requested actions and immediately file an application to the State Police!
In the process of reviewing insurance claims, BTA does not in any way request Internet banking data from customers! If customers or cooperation partners have any doubts about the received e-mail regarding the claim case, please contact BTA Customer Service by phone 26 12 12 12 or the official BTA e-mail bta@bta.lv!
